Anaheim Center of Hope

Property Description

The Salvation Army Anaheim Center of Hope Apartments will be a 72- unit supportive housing community. The property will consist of studio units and will feature a furnished community room. The units will be fully-furnished and will include microwaves, refrigerators, electric stoves, disposal, laminated kitchen cabinets and laminate flooring. The community will include seventy (70) studio units for homeless households earning 25% and 30% of the area median income (AMI). The project will include convenient resident laundry facilities on both the first and 3rd floors; an on-site gym equipped with cardiovascular machines and weights; library/study room; and a recreation room with a big screen TV for communal viewing, stocked with board games, playing cards, and other materials for recreation and leisure, as well as a leasing office, and a multipurpose room. Outdoors, residents will enjoy an outdoor lounge area equipped with barbecue, a half-court basketball court, multiple benches, and a pet “park” area.  Resident services will be managed by The Salvation Army (Services Coordinator). The Orange County Health Care Agency along with The Salvation Army will be the service providers.
