Warren Reed, Vice President

Warren Reed is Vice President of the John Stewart Company’s (JSCo’s) South Bay Regional Office and oversees all day-to-day operations of the Region. Mr. Reed joined JSCo as a Regional Manager in 2003, was later promoted to Director of Property Management and then Regional Vice President in 2016. During Mr. Reed’s tenure, the South Bay Region has doubled in size to over 5,300 units under management, including 70 affordable communities throughout Santa Clara, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, and Monterey Counties.

Mr. Reed has successfully planned and directed the takeover of multiple large and diverse multifamily portfolios for JSCo, while also expanding and strengthening our South Bay team to provide high quality management and supervision of HUD, USDA, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, Permanent Supportive Housing and other Special Needs affordable housing communities. Mr. Reed has extensive experience working with non-profit Boards of Directors, Cooperatives, public agencies and other property owners to turn around and stabilize troubled properties, as well as the planning and management of complicated multi-million-dollar tax credit acquisition/rehab projects.

Mr. Reed received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is both a Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) and Tax Credit Specialist (TCS). Prior to joining JSCo, he worked for a large global daily newspaper, managing printing production operations in several American states and three European countries. In his personal time, Mr. Reed volunteers with Santa Cruz County land conservation agencies and acts as a State Park Docent.
