Lori Horn, Vice President

Ms. Horn joined The John Stewart Company as Vice President of the Southern California Region in 2001. In this capacity, Ms. Horn is responsible for the management and operations over one hundred and fifty affordable multifamily communities, including over 10,000 housing units, throughout Southern California. Ms. Horn has worked in the affordable housing industry for over twenty-five years and possesses extensive experience and expertise in affordable housing regulatory compliance, financing, Section 42 low-income housing tax credits, HUD programs and marketing and lease-up procedures.

Prior to joining JSCo, Ms. Horn was the Vice President and Director of Property Management for a privately held Real Estate Investment Trust headquartered in Los Angeles, California. In this position she was directly responsible for the management and operation of approximately 22,000 multifamily units throughout the United States.

Ms. Horn received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Pacific Southwest chapter of the Affordable Housing Management Association (AHMA). She is a Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Certified Credit Compliance Professional (CCCP) and National Assisted Housing Professional, Executive (NAHP-E).
